Grant Funding

Grant funding is now being provided through the national Growth Accelerator programme, access to the programme is focusing on high growth businesses.

In order to get access to the funding you will need to apply to join the scheme. To do that you must demonstrate the will, opportunity and capacity to grow your business. The initial stage is to assess whether training or coaching is best suited to your needs.

Web Development Business

A growing technology business was seeking to increase revenues, conventional wisdom indicated they should build a sales force. Using our structured methodology we identified that they could increase sales significantly by understanding more clearly their customers needs and exploiting that opportunity rather than immediately employing a sales force. Further we identified the company’s true competitive advantages, exploiting this effectively the company has managed to increase its turnover from £650k to £1.2m without investing in a sales force and subsequently sell the business for an amount exceeding even the owners most optimistic projection.


Logistics

The owner of a transport business needed to get better control of their business and re organise to allow them to reduce the number of hours in the business, which was often 14hrs a day, 7 days per week. We undertook a full strategic review of the business and reset the strategy which was in line with the owners aspirations. This resulted in a restructure of the business Turnover was reduced and some assets were disposed of; however profit was more than doubled and the owners could run the business working a normal 40 hrs week .


IT Services

A  creative group lost a major client and was seeing a fall in margins of its other business activities.  As a result of our strategic analysis we were able to identify core profitable service markets. The business was re launched focusing purely on those sectors and it reorganised its structure to drop all non core interests. As a result its has already taken on new clients and building a commercial viable business.


Personal Removal Services

A logistics business had stagnated and was looking for ways to develop the business. By using our structured approach we developed a comprehensive strategy for taking the business forward. By creating a strategic difference between them and their competition they have been able to grow regularly at a rate of 35% per annum. They are now seen as the market leader in their sector.


Software Company

An IT software company was seeking significant funding to develop the business further. Without a coherent strategy and plan they had received little interest from lenders and investors. The Owner used our strategic planning process to provide a clear strategy and implementation programme, he was able to go to lenders and obtain the investment he required to take his business forward.


Promotional Clothing Business

A clothing business had reached a plateau in turnover. The owners needs a way of breaking out and driving sustained profitable growth. We used our strategic planning process to identify the options before them and the to rank them in priority and likelihood of success based on the company’s structure, market and employee capabilities. We then implemented the plan to reorganise  their business which in turn has enabled them to push their growth rate to 40% p.a.
